Lukla-Monjo-Namche Bazaar

After meeting his porter/guide at the Lukla airport, Peter spent two days hiking to Monjo and Namche Bazaar.

This is Neemo, Peter's porter. As expected, notice the tiny pack that he's carrying. Peter insists that "Neemo took the heavy things."

They spent the night in Monjo, a village on the way.

After the road ends, porters are the main way to get goods into these high altitude villages. Incredible seeing how much they carry.
