Long, hard journey to Kathmandu

Peter's trip was pretty horrible getting to Kathmandu, taking nearly 40 hours. He flew through the UK and Qatar, on American Airlines, British Airways, and Qatar Airways. He has a massive pile of paperwork with him and still it seemed like at every stop they wanted something else. Of course, he's standing there with no access to a printer. Very, very major hassles. With changing COVID rules for each country and each airline, no one was in agreement about which actual piece of paper he needed. Nepal is mostly closed right now except for expeditions, so no one is well-versed in what the rules are. He met one woman in Dallas who had been stuck for a few days trying to sort out paperwork, so the risks of having the trip derailed were real. But he's there now, so immensely relieved to have made it through all that.
