We Love Washington DC
Every morning while we were in Washington DC, Soren would wake up and open the curtain and announce "It's morning!" We do our best to stay on Oregon time just to avoid the whole jet lag scenario, so with blackout curtains this means that we rise at (a very late for us) 9 a.m.
Each morning he'd want to know what day it was. Not as in Sunday, Monday, Tuesday... He knew we had 4 days to play and so when we told him it was Day 2, he'd sigh and say he was sad that it was getting closer to the time we had to go home. This kid loved Washington DC.
Although for him, the tour of the Capital was not a highlight.
And who can blame him? Looking at this:
Requires a bit of neck strain.
But, he loved the Library of Congress. Though I never did understand exactly what the draw for him was.
But, without a doubt, the museums were for him the #1 attraction. Kind of hard to compete with rockets:
(He asked if he could have this one for his birthday.)
Or touching a piece of the moon.

I love #4 of Soren looking up. Such a cool shot. Did you get pictures of the Cherry trees in bloom? I would love to be there during this time.
