Farming in Georgia
I guess it is only fitting since I'm in Georgia for a farm show that we spend some time checking out the farming here! While we've been driving around we noticed lots of busy farmers harvesting peanuts, so we stopped off to check them out.
And then we stopped to watch them harvest and bale cotton. How cool is that? This machine was working with a dump truck which would dump the freshly harvested cotton into this metal form. The tractor at the back would then smash down the cotton into a big bale.
I didn't know anything about growing cotton or peanuts. So it was a prety cool day.

King Cotton. I prefer the modern-day forms of harvesting, don't you? That would be so fun to see!
