Noon in the Garden of Good and Evil

Today we made some sidetrips a shortways out of Savannah. We walked around Buenoventure Cemetary which was part of the movie Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. Wow! It was so amazing with all the spanish moss dripping from the trees. If it had been any time other than high noon, it might have been kind of creepy.
Soren really liked climbing around (though we did manage to keep him off the actual gravestones.) He really didn't seem to grasp the concept of what a cemetary was exactly which was just fine for now.
We also stopped at Fort Pulaski which was a fort built during the time of the civil war.

The highlight of the day was definitely Tybee Island. Fun, sun and sand!
It is incredible how much warmer the Atlantic is than the Pacific. It was literally like stepping into bathwater.
There were lots of kids for Soren to run and splash around with.
The longer we stayed, the braver he got about running into the waves.
It was a great, fun and sunny day.
