Glacier National Park
The main goal, other than family togetherness, of the trip to Montana was Glacier National Park. Another first this summer for my family.
Our condo was about 20 minutes outside the West Glacier entrance.
Traveling with a pack of small boys, stops in the park were frequent. And fantastic.
A picnic by the river...
...was a great place for small boys to throw rocks and sticks (they could have done this for hours!)
While we were at the river, would you believe these deer came over to check out the boys? We couldn't believe how close they came!
While we didn't do any long backpacking hikes, we did enjoy several small jaunts that were perfect for legs of all lengths!
My favorite area of the park was the Many Glacier area. Wow. Wow. Wow. It is jaw-droppingly beautiful wherever you turn:
