Which of course lead to perfectly delectable s'mores.
Camping with a group of moms means someone is likely going to remember fun diversions for the kids.
And even a kite to take advantage of the always-windy Oregon coast.
And in spite of the sand, I did let him back in the car.
On the way home we were both feeling a bit sleepy. So we pulled over in a nice city park...
...pulled out the camping gear and snuggled up for a nap! A perfect ending to a perfect camping trip.
