Why, Yes, It *Is* Rocket Science
When learning Rocket Science, safety of of utmost importance.
Careful observation helps you learn what needs to happen.
Lots of tangled wires look very impressive and are important in the pursuit of Rocket Science.
And then - STAND BACK - and watch the smoke pour out as your rocket shoots into the atmosphere (never to be seen again no matter how much your dad and your neighbor wander the fields looking for it.)

How fun! BTW, we tried the experiment with your care package. Don't know who loved it more...Isaiah or Dave! Thanks.
ReplyDeleteThat's a fun activity! When Neal and I were dating, Neal took my then 6 year old brother to launch rockets. They packed the black powder so that the rocket would explode. Sometimes it exploded before it left the launcher. Where was my brother's mother?
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that first picture of Soren. One of my favorites.
