Berries and Cherries

Ah, summer. The bounty is coming in full force now. We've started a lovely habit of having "pie" for after dinner every night. We just go out and pick a bunch of whatever berries are ready, bring them in, mash them up, and pour the slurry into those pre-made mini graham cracker crusts. Yum!



This is the year of the cherries! Peter's trees are now 7 years old and they are hitting full production! Last year we had to wrestle the birds for the few cherries on the tree. But last night Soren and I picked up 4 lbs of cherries without even needing to climb on the ladder. Love it!
