The Beginning of the Real Garden Season

While there is usually something or another edible coming from Peter's garden, for me it is asparagus that really signals the beginning our our true season of bounty. Last night was our inaugural meal for garden season. Hurrah, hurrah for the much beloved asparagus. Our dinner was hummus on toast along side piles and piles of roasted asparagus. Just can't get enough.



Strawberries can't be too far behind.
