Big Boys Can Fix Cars

My check engine light was on when I was leaving for work the other day. I ran in the house to tell Peter...

Peter: Ok, I'll go out and take a look.
Soren (running closely behind): I'll look too. I'm bigger now, mom.
I so wish I had had the video running because Soren puffed up his chest and held his arms out at his sides like he was a big strutting man so that he could follow daddy to go do some manly work.

My boys take very good care of me.

  2. Awwww! So cute. How big is that shirt Soren is wearing? Love the belly hanging out the bottom.

  3. Soren has a true mechanic wardrobe - his belly is showing! What a lucky gal. If I told Neal my "check engine" light was on, he would say, "What do you want me to do about it? Call the mechanic." About all we Peton's know how to do is pump our own gas, but even THAT skill is fading. We're not allowed to pump our own gas!

  4. Ok, I guess I'm busted on Soren's attire. Normally I can blame Peter for some bizarre Soren outfit (like the camo shorts and preppy light blue patterned t-shirt I found him in yesterday). But this one is totally my doing. I guess it might be time to retire those size 12M jammies?

  5. Okay, love that we all noticed the small jammies and not the car. Typical moms!
