Snowshoeing on New Year's Day!
We started 2007 off right with a quick trip to the mountains to do some snowshoeing. It was a great day! Peter carried Soren in the back pack and I carried the hot cocoa (pretty good trade-off I thought!) Soren wasn't crazy about the slow going on the uphill part, but when we got to the bouncy rythmn of the downhill portions he thought it was a blast. We hiked up to a small forest service hut which had a roaring fire in the woodstove, so we warmed up and drank some cocoa while Soren ran around the place happy to be freed from the backpack.
